Late night cravings ? Del Taco has a 24 hour drive - thru. Del Taco is not just a Mexican place, it also has salads, burgers and even vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the Chicken Avocado burrito and the Carne Asada burrito and Chicken Spicy Jack Quesadilla. Everything tasted great and the portions sizes were generous. I would say prices are a bit high compared to other fast food restaurants, but it's worth the extra cost. Definitely check our Del Taco !

Thursday Chicken Taco Special, NOT so special

We went there after a soft ball game with friends. Ordered four chicken tacos and spicy jack chicken quesadilla. Forgot there was a Thursday Chicken Taco special. These are usually my favorite at Del Taco. Cashier did not ring me up with the Thursday chicken taco special price. Guy behind me in line told her you didn't give him the special price. She was a little upset but complied. Normally the chicken soft tacos are very good but NOT today, see photos all tacos the same, made with little effort and little chicken, cheese or sauce. Same with the spicy chicken jack quesadilla very little chicken and cheese was non existent on the outer two inches or the tortilla.

WOW!!!!

This place ROCKS and it's HUGE!!!!

Fast food is BIG BUSINESS in Barstow... and this Del Taco is an easy off-ramp in and an even easier on-ramp from the I-15 exit on Lenwood Road.

This location is GIGANTIC. Bigger in fact than most Denney's. The bathrooms are sparkling clean with bright tiles.

Barstow's location is SUPER 1960's/1970's nostalgic. Not quaint at all. Menu items feature a surprising Barstow Style Hard Taco and Barstow Style Tostadas. The also have the Original Bun Taco (Taco on a bun). Everything they make is piled high with your favorite ingredients.

We go to Del Taco locations all the time in Orange and Los Angeles counties. One of the most recent menu items is a "Jacked-Up Chicken" Soft Taco which has shredded jack cheese and green sauce, same as their Spicy Jack Quesadillas. That wasn't on the menu in Barstow.

We ordered three Chicken Soft Tacos, no secret sauce, add green sauce and tomatoes. And two Strawberry Lemonades ($1.79 vs. $1.00).Our total bill was about seven dollars and change.

A waitress brought our tray to our table and those tacos arrived in fat packages. Once opened, we were pleasantly surprised to see these tacos were prepared with toasted or grilled flower tortillas that were hot, toasty and golden vs. all white and gooey. They were packed full of Grilled Chicken,Lettuce, Tomatoes and Del Taco's world famous Green Sauce.

And their SERVICE is every bit as good as their food. Mostly young and highly energetic. Bottom Line: I'm impressed. Outstanding! Way to go! A must see off of Interstate 15.

Terrible customer service!

Went in Drive thru and told the lady (Lashawna, or something like that) that I had two orders. First one, had coupon buy 1, get 1 free burritos. Second one, had coupon buy 1 get 1 free Cheddar and a Spicy Jack Quesadilla. When I pulled to window she said couldn't use two coupons even though there's three people in the car and separate orders, which they will do. So had to go in and order the Quesadillas again, yet they gave me the ones I ordered in the drive thru. After getting almost home, noticed the cheddar one was burned in spots. Drove all the way back and went inside and told them it was burnt. One worker shows another worker and they both look at me like i'm crazy. Finally get the new quesadilla and get all the way home , they spicy jack is actually a spicy chicken quesadilla and also has some ground beef in it with lettuce attached. My daughter is allergic to lettuce and wth is it doing in a spicy jack quesadilla. Rather than go back to those dummies just threw it away. Have been a regular for years but will not go back and telling family and friends to avoid this particular Del Taco.,. Staff is Rude!
